The Makita 18V Li-on Celebration Combi Drill is a beaut! Great Makita engineering with a solid feel. Quite small compared with some other makes but none the worse for that. Anyone thinking of buying a drill - get this baby! It's had some tough work this last couple of weeks but it has never flinched. I have no criticisms to make but I do have an small observation. The carry case is posh (very posh). It is the sort of case one might buy to carry very expensive camera equipment. I reckon if Makita were to put the drill and charger into a good strong plastic case they could knock about thirty quid off the price! Nevertheless, having said that it is a great drill and I would recommend it 100%. If you are in the market for a cordless combi drill then my view is you cannot beat this Makita Unit. This is by far the best cordless drill I have ever owned. My wife bought it for me as a birthday present (I am a very lucky man, she knows me very well) It is light (Less Fatigue when using it) and the new battery technology is fantastic, charges in 22 mins. The unit is very powerful and battery life is very impressive, however a professional user may need to buy a second battery. There was an issue with the presentation box it had been damaged, called the supplier, they asked for some photos of the damage and sent me a replacement box which arrived the following day. So in summary this is a superb machine for either the professional or DIYer, Highly Recommended *****.
