Cordless Drills

superb,does everthing and more than a battery powered driver.very light and easy to use,long power cord and very well made.
why buy a cordless driver,get one you will not regret it.

In the early 70s I was a service engineer for a large tool hire company and was given the very first version of this tool to try out, we were a major buyer of Skil tools and I still have a few which were supposed to go to scrap when they had passed their cost effectiveness date. And boy did I love this drill driver, it saved me many a blister. For the uninitiated there are lots of screws holding power tools together and constant use of a phillips screwdriver can leave your hands aching and sore. I used to borrow it for jobs at home like building fitted wardrobes from pine planks, (the Scandinavian look was in then). It was eventually stolen from the workshop and I always suspected one of the bosses.

I have a few cordless drill drivers but am going to buy this because to get the equivalent power from a cordless you need at least an 18volt machine which for me is too heavy now and the batteries don't last that long.

Like many people who don't use cordless tools that often anymore, as always you come to use them, yes! you've guessed it. Dead as a dodo. This piece of kit is brilliant,power always to hand, no batteries to charge etc. Amazing amount of torque, more than enough to do damage to the mother-in-law (sorry, dreaming again). Highly recommended,if fact I wouldn't mind a second one.
